ßetasweet on last 25th - 27th june 2009, we, the ßetasweet went for the sekolah angkat program at the sk kuala betis....not to be formal but i'm practising for my report writing...for your infomation,from the very start i don't even keen with it...but now,i'm missing my adeks..9 org tho..the students there were not 100% aborigines or the org asli.as the pkhem said, there are 20% malay n the rest are the org asli...so for my team, i got 3 malays n 6 aborigines..they r, azidah,anisah,umi,eja,aris,a'ol,piji,tadoi and amran.how i miss them very much...all form 5 beta or the ßetasweet joined the program n we're divided into small group as to be the fa-c..along with me are hairul azman n muhammad shafizul..thank god everything went sharp n smooth throughout the program...
so, the activities took place were LDK [latihan dlm kump], every morning we had have the senam aerobic n the poco- poco, we also had the malam persembahan n my team perform ella- standing in the eyes of the world, which was the theme song for this program, BBQ, n most important event is the crying session...i never thought that i'll be this 'meleleh'.most of us [fa-c] crying after seeing our adeq crying...uhuu:(
first n foremost thing i expect before coming there is, i thought that they are not really like outsiders n not welcoming us...some of the kids just jawab acuh x acuh bila ditanya for the first day...n for the next day, we could see that they are waiting for us at the stairs..how were they really interested in us....i felt like crying again...uhuuu...so, the journey is like this/:
arrive at K.betis at asar i think....and then the pkhem merasmikan program at their dining hall...then, he show us our flat...one for the boys n one for the girls + teachers.
then at night we have the ice breaking session...the kids were divided into 10 groups... and i only have 9 kids apart from 10...but it's okay...the kids were still shy shy cat n i was mati kutu to entertain them...at first we speak 'bhs luar' coz we afraid they don't understand..but as time goes, we speak kelatanese n still we could communicate well. after everyone introduce themselves, aman came out with an idea of playing this game....forgot the name already...but it's just like daruma-san game...we have to freeze ourselves or else we're out. n laughter fill up the space. because of the time limit, we just stop with the ice breaking for the first night.after supper, we wenr back to our flat..
for the next day, we start our day by some exercise, zulfikar, zam lead the way.we also had poco- poco, but it's kind of little hard to teach the kids...but it's okay we keep on doing the step over n over. then, we had our breakfast at their dining. but at this time i had to cancel my bf at dining because i'm the only one who hasn't bath yet...hahah...after that, we had our second LDK, this time the fill up is...we play game. the kotak beracun.i got the task for doing sad face.because of the excitement, i couldn't perform well. p-joe got the task for singing,so he sung p.u.s.p.a n aman got the task for saying 'i love you' so, we request him to say it to adah...it's so funny i never thought a casanova like him is a little bit shy on saying that..but he do say it. the winner for this game is anisah. but we request her to take one of the card n she got the task to do the paper folding [origami] n she makes a 'simple perahu'. after that we went for a break.
the boys had to go for the solat jumaat n that was the time when we, the girls 'menggila' we do the shuffle, dancing n of coz the cam whoring. haha...fun tho.
then we proceed the day with LDK 3..as far as i could remember, we practised for the night, so, my group choosed to do the choir, azidah lead the way n we sung 'standing in the eyes of the world'. we change the steps for 3 times n i contributed nothing.haha.aman n p-joe do all the stuff.from a to z. me?only help what need to be help. we end our practised session about 5 o'clock. then, we went for the high-tea at the dining hall.
at night, we had our 'malam persembahan'. the sad thing is, i only watched it when it's only at the persembahan ke-5,but it's okay because my group performed last. i was so proud with my group, azidah doesn't hold the lyric. she remembered it very well. but there were some of them still holding it, but it's okay, maybe this song was still new to them. and the teachers request for our performance for tomorrow closing ceremony apart from zack's group preformance. they got the first n mine was second. i could see that the kids were very happy n eager for tomorrow.even me,myself felt the same too.hoho.
so, for the last day, we begin our day by the exercises n the poco-poco.this time, the kids could do the poco-poco better than yesterday. then, breakfast n closing ceremony. we, the fa-c sung 2 songs, the first one is peter pan's song..the lyrics is kind of 'ada cerita tentang aku dan dia...'.forgot the title already n the second one is our theme song. at this time, leha cried n when i looked at my adeqs down there, i could see that they were crying....n i felt like meleleh too....most of us cried even the boys.. but,only a few of them doesn't. my adeqs won't stop crying but after we had our last talk in our group, they're okay..but still, they couldn't smile much. then, all of us took a picture together...
at three o'clock we were ready to go back..the amazing thing is, the kids already waited for us at the stairs...we're so touched by that you know....uhuuu
we also exchange our name card..so, i got anisah, umi n eja' name card.i gave mine to anisah.
they also sent us until the bus moves...
so,overall, this is the most precious memory i have ever....n i really miss my adeq2 so much....walaupun ada org ckp cam x logik je rindukan org asli but i really wish that someday i can see them again....diorang ni byk kelebihan n kekurangannya ...cam kte jgk...so, wat's good we already thaught them n they also thaught us in different way. and this is even more precious because we do it together .~ßetasweet ßoleh~
